Those of you that know me, know that I’ve like to work on bicycles and I’m regularly repairing, upgrading, modifying, etc. So about a month ago, I bid on a front end off of a Suzuki GSXR to upgrade my ‘06 SV650 with. I’ve done a few little upgrades, changes, etc to the moto since I got it in late ‘05, but this is definitely the biggest project that I’ve taken on. Hopefully the box that the forks were shipped in wasn’t forecasting the outcome of this project. I figure I still have about 2 weeks of work before the bike’s road worthy again. Stay tuned….

So how did the swap go? Are those stock GSXR triples with the top drilled out for riser bars?

I own an 04 sv and I want to put GSXR front suspension on it, it you could send me some links etc. on how to find out the best way to do this I would appriciate it. I am curious about what front wheel I will need to run, tripple clamps and what years match up. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,

Here’s a link to a forum where I posted up all the details. I’ve made a few changes since then, but nothing major- http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=44383
